Perched Behind Nottingham Castle in Robin Hood Country
So this is England. Minnie is 22 months (and yes; she's mini!). She lives in the City of Nottingham but in 'The Park' right behind the Castle; in what used to be the deer hunting grounds for the castle kitchens. The first houses were built in the early 1800s. This is the Nottingham Park Estate. It remains this extraordinary rural haven in the heart of the city. So the semi-wild red fox eyes Minnie boldly through the kitchen door! Did I say that Minnie is my granddaughter and I am in heaven hanging out with her and her mum and dad??!!
